Editorial policy and disclosures

Short version: no vendor owns, pays or sponsors any part of this site, and the scores are arithmetic you can check.

Independence

Synagogue Software Reviews is an independent publication. We do not develop, resell or implement synagogue software. No company reviewed here has an ownership stake in the site, and nobody involved in producing it holds an equity interest in any vendor reviewed.

Money

As of launch the site earns nothing. There are no affiliate links, no sponsored placements, no lead-generation forms that sell your details to vendors, and no paid "verified" badges. If that changes, this page will say exactly how, the affected pages will carry a disclosure at the top, and rankings will remain computed by the published rubric with no commercial input. We will never accept payment to raise, lower or remove a score.

How vendors are treated

Every vendor is measured by the same rubric from its own public documentation. We link the page behind each claim. We do not use one vendor's marketing about another as evidence. Vendors receive the same correction process as readers, and we will publish a vendor's response to a specific factual finding on the review page if they request it.

Corrections

Email editor@synagoguesoftwarereviews.com with the page, the statement and the evidence. We re-verify against the source, update the record, rebuild the page and update its verification date. Material corrections are noted on the page. We aim to respond within five business days.

What is and is not a review

Our pages describe documented features and published prices and compute a score. They do not report hands-on testing of every product, and where we summarize independent users' experiences we label them as individual accounts, not survey findings. Nothing here is legal, tax or accounting advice; your treasurer and accountant should confirm financial-reporting requirements.

Use of AI tools

Research assistants, including AI tools, help fetch and organize vendor documentation. Every price and feature status is tied to a source URL that a human can open, and the editor is responsible for what is published.

Trademarks

Product and company names are the property of their owners and are used only to identify the products discussed. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any vendor.
