Best synagogue software for treasurers: accounting, receivables and QuickBooks
Most synagogue platforms are membership systems with billing attached, not accounting systems. The treasurer should know before signing whether month-end means a sync, an export or a re-key.
Quick answer
- MyShul — Standard $179/mo; Premium $310/mo; Enterprise ('most popular') $460/mo. Hollywood, Florida-based all-in-one shul platform (MyShul, LLC) combining a CRM, invoicing and donations on Stripe, QuickBooks sync, seating maps, a member app, kiosks/TV displays and an optional website, with published tiers from $147 to $460 per month.
- Easyshul — Standard (congregations with more than 150 families) $349/mo. Cloud synagogue management platform covering membership CRM, billing and payments, giving, events, education, QuickBooks/Sage integration and pastoral-care workflows, priced at a flat monthly rate for congregations over 150 families.
- GabbaiPro — Starter $149/mo; Growth $399/mo; Pro $499/mo. Newly launched (2026) cloud synagogue management platform covering membership, batch dues billing, Stripe-settled payments, yahrzeits, an aliyah/kibbudim gabbai queue and a member portal, priced $149 to $499 per month.
The question to settle first
Will the platform be the book of record for receivables, with totals reconciled into QuickBooks monthly, or will QuickBooks remain the book of record with the platform feeding it? Most synagogue platforms are built for the first model; a few include a general ledger and can be the whole finance system for a smaller congregation; and the documentation for the hand-off ranges from a true sync to a CSV you import by hand.
This shortlist weights the billing, receivables, ledger and QuickBooks fields most heavily and includes quote-only enterprise options because treasurers at larger congregations will encounter them. Every status links the vendor page we read; where the page says "QuickBooks integration" without saying what kind, the status is partial and the open question is listed.
